Le
FRANCE a été construit à Nazaire entre 1957-1962. Il a été été
baptisé par Madame Charles de Gaulle le 11 mai 1960.
Le 18/8/1979 il a été converti en bateau de croisière de première
classe, pour NORWEGIAN CARIBBEAN LINE et a été rebaptisé le
NORWAY.
Le 5 mai 2006, il a à nouveau été baptisé le BLUE LADY et a été
déposé dans le port d'Alang aux Indes en 2008…
Ce modèle, fabriqué de manière artisanale, est entièrement en
bois. Il n'y a aucune pièce plastique.
Le modèle est livré, entièrement assemblé, prêt pour être
exposé.

France was built at Yard number G19, Penhoet, St. Nazaire between
1957-1962. SS FRANCE was launched by Madame Charles De Gaulle on May
11 1960.
On 18/8/1979 for conversion to a one class cruise ship for the
Norwegian Caribbean Line and was renamed SS Norway.
May 5, 2006, she was renamed again Blue Lady and rested in Alang
port, India in 2008...
Model is scratch built, planks on frame from hard wood and painted.
Model is full assembled and ready for display.
